Possibly some big time help.

I have had back and chest pain which has caused me alot of worry being as I'm an ex-smoker. I did notice that the back pain etc. seemed to coincide with acid reflux problems but just couldn't understand the link. I now suspect I have some sort of respiratory problem (surfaced before I read your post) which scared me enough to make a doctors appointment next week. I've been trying to think about whether or not all these things could be linked or whether I am just falling apart. I have always been fairly healthy and active making things even more confusing. I appreciate you posting this information as it will give me something to discuss with my doctor.
I am however, still going to demand an X-ray and blood testing. I'm not fooling around with this stuff anymore. If I get anymore useful information on this problem I will post it somewhere on this board.

Jay
