my son was diagnosed with scimitar syndrome at 4 wks of age, underwent open heart sugery and right pneumonectomy at 6 wks of age. He is now 15 months old. He is doing quite well except for very SLOW to no weight gain (he's only gained 1.5 lbs in 8 months!)
