I am a female non smoker 41 yrs old 5'7" 115 lbs.
I had arthiscopic surgey for a partially collapsed lung
2 yrs ago and now it has partially collapsed again in March so my Dr suggested to wait and see if it heals. So it did, well until 3 months later and it partially collapsed again. I was not doing anything physical. I have read many other people have had this same thing and in some cases its has happened again. My Dr suggested we wait again and then we would have surgey if it gets worse. Does anyone know or have more information on this as to why it occurs and reoccurs.
I was told it usually happens in smokers and tall people. I am not a smoker and not really that tall.
If anyone has any additional information on this subject i would greatly appreciate it. Thankyou!
