I am a 78 year old female with metastatic stageIV breast cancer. My original dx and mastectomy was May 1993 I have been on various hormone protocals. Recently on chemotherapy (Taxol) Had 13 sessions.
Always had trouble breathing. Has gotten worse. I can barely get out of bed because of difficulty breathing. Am confined to being homebound--which even at my age is distasteful.
Have a pleural effusion which the onco says is not large enough to cause this problem. Gad catherization - also not a problem.
Now getting pulmonary testing which might be helpful.
But I no longer have faith in all of these tests. So I am hoping YOU can come up with any suggestion to help me get a life.
