I would also suggest a visit to a pulmonary specialist. There could be many possible reasons for your symptoms. Hospital emergency rooms are not designed to give multiple tests to determine cause. They are designed to save lives, and if your promblem isnt life threatening, you wont even be admitted (no matter how bad you feel!) A dr IS designed to run various tests and do medical histories, and labs, etc. It is not normal to be unable to take a deep breath.
