I have had a meeting with a lung surgeon and diognosis seems to depend mainly on location. If the nodule is in the bronchia(sp) a bronchoscope is possible. If it is near the surface of the lung endoscopy is the method. You will have more information when you see the pulmonary specialist but don't be intimadated by insurance companies. This is your life.
