i have been experiencing strong discomfort in what what seems to be back of right lung. with this pain is shortness of breath, also a very slight cough. pain is in an exact spot and can be pointed to,(not a general area) and often keeps me awake at night, or wakes me from sleep when it is then necessary to change position. i have a appt. with doctor next week. lost father to lung cancer and am very frightened. does anyone know of something other than lung cancer that can cause same symptoms???? thank you.
