I am a 40 y/o mother of 3 and granny of 1. Thanksgiving 1998 I was diagnosed with COPD. I went to a Pulmonary doctor who basically said live with it. This year my right lung began have a dull ache that grew worse so I went to a diff. pulmonary doctor who tested me fo TB. I had a huge reaction to it, within 24 hrs my entire forearm swelled turned sunburn red and had a 6 in x 5 in duration. he took xrays and advised me I had non active TB and a calcification on my right lung. I went home absolutely MORTIFIED and confused! He prescribed bronciodialators and a few days later I felt better, he said i didnt neeed to take the 6 month therapy of drugs because i wans't active. I am now about to do the liver function tests to be sure i can begin the meds. Is there anyone out there who has been in my boat...i know im not alone but it sure feel like it. Any suggestions other than learning to spell? HE HE
