Hi, my name is Brad and I am 19 years of age, currently my father is suffering severly with breathing problems. The VA currently is taking care of him. My father John is only 49 years of age and has had emphesyma for over ten years now, and is on oxygen 24hrs. His health, including his heart, is in good shape at the moment. The doctors he has seen recomended that he has a lung reduction surgery. The VA no longer provides the funds for this surgery. What I am looking for is some info on where is a good place to have this surgery done along with some info on where the funds may come from.
