: I have had upper left back pain for 2 weeks now. I had a similar pain 6 months ago but it went away. I had an xray 8 months ago, a CAT(CT) scan 6 months ago, and a bone scan just last week. All have shown normal. Any idea what this pain could be?
: The pain seems centered under the scapula but the pain does radiate and move around.
: My GP is now referring me to an orthopedic specialist since all the tests come back normal.
: Any suggestions?

: Thanks in advance.

Hello Trent
I have the same complain as you have. Almost 2 weeks for me also. Mine is worse when I try
to lie down, sitting is sometimes difficult too. I've had a Chest Xray/EKG/Blood work, all
normal. The pain got so back one night at 5:30 AM, I had to go to the emergency room,
I should have gone this morning but decided to walk it off, took me 2 hours of walking around
the house to get any releave. I don't know where to go next. When is your pain the worst??
My pain or burning as I describe it is high in my back under my rib cage and travels around
to my front chest area.At first I was told to watch for a rash/blisters, that it might be "shingles"
but nothing happened, so shingles are ruled out. If I can't get my much needed sleep tonight
I'll have to see the doctor again (third time) tomorrow. Sorry, I can't give you any answers,
but I wanted to let you know, that your not alone. I feel your pain.
