Hello

i am 23yr old woman with average health. for the past one and a half months i have been experiencing
a severe pain in the lower half of my left rib cage. i visited a doctor who told me that its just the
inflamation of the cartillage around the ribs. and prescribed a pain killer (ibuprofane 800 mg).
the dosage being 3 per day at regular intervals. after 3 days the pain reduced. but it has reappeared
again after 3 weeks. and seems to worsen.

i would like to know if this is common when ever we have cold and cough. ( thats what the doctor told me)
she i be going for a second doctor?
