I am a 54 yr female-- about a month ago I had difficulty in breathing -with weird wheezing. Dr thought I was having an asthma attack(never had before)
Treatment was Flovent, Albuteral by nebulizer, and someother inhaler. I was leaving next day to see my ailing parents so we were sort of punting! Last week I had Lung Function exam - came out with Restrictive lung function - not obstructive. My exhale on home monitor is never over 250. I have been referred to a pulmonary specialist but they cannot see me until January --I still wheeze --What in the world is restrictive lung function all about?
