: I was diagnosed with Pluracy yesterday. However, I still don't know how this happened. I'm the picture of health, then all of a sudden, it hurts to breathe, and my heart's beating rapidly. My doctor prescribed Motrin. Will this make it go away? I want more information on Pluracy please.
I was diagnosed with it yesterday, so today I came into my office and looked it up. Pluracy (pleurisy) is an inflamation of the pleura, the lining of the lungs. As far as I am able to understand, it is an infection. To cure it, I was given Naproxen for the inflamation, Hydrocod for pain and I've been taken Ceftin, an antibiotic for bronquitis which I had las week. Hope this helps you understand your diagnosis.
