I have read that there is a 10 percent chance of skin involvement lupus becoming systemic. It can be accompanied by some symptoms such as weakness and or fatigue but is a much milder illness then the systemic variety. The main concern is staying out of the sun to keep rashes and symptoms to a minimum.
