Yes, you can have high ANA readings with fibromyalgia. ANA isn't specific with any disease at all, actually someone that isn't sick can ahve high ANA and vice versa. Actually I ahve fibro secondary to Lupus and i thought Fibro before i saw that is what they told you.

: 5 years ago, i had a high ANA of 1:280, which when I went to a rheumatologist was lowered (can't remember to what now, but still a little high).

Lumbar back muscles are weak and easily "go out". I have fatigue and lots of tension and tension headaches. Have had these for like twenty years, though. The fatigue seems to be more lately, shear pain exhaustion??
: When I get "flairs" it is from using my shoulder muscles, like writing a lot, or bending over and cutting fabric, or something "simple" like bending over to plant say 20 bulbs. I suffer greatly after this whereas others are fine. Been told fibro, by my symptoms. Can Fibro cause high ANA tests??
