Dear, Christine Our Mother recently passed of Liver cirrosis and had that disease alpha 1 tripton disease. We did not no she had this disease until it was to late. For 3 years it has been showing liver damage but our doctor did not send her for follow up tests. My mum had the disease and we are all carriers with mz genes accept me which was very rare. My mum was 70 years old and she fell on the footpath and was sleeping alot. and then her fluid built up. She was 70 years old and that what the doctors say are not always right. If my mum could have changed her diet and taken special vitamains she could have prolonged her life even longer. Dont give up hope my mum was a strong christain and God kept her that long, never give up hope, never. Love Kathy******
