Pat...don't give up..I had rheumoid arthritis along with the lyme disease but it is very much under control. I am taking a medicine called Plaquinal. I see a doctor up in Boston, Mass who prescribed this medicine along with a strong antibiotic. The Plaquinal took care a lot of the pain I had (its was unbearable). And i can function pretty good now.
