: Can any Chronic Lyme Disease patient comment on the long term results (positive of negative) of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy with chronic lyme disease?

: My wife may have had lyme for most of her life (50 yrs)which seemed to re-emerge 3 yerars ago after extreme stress (multiple deaths in the family) which also precipitated shingles and then post herpetic neuralgia.

: She is currently suffering atthritis like sypmtoms in her hand joints, involuntary twitching (legs/arms), elevated temp, chronic fatigue, extreme lower back pain and sciatica, pain in the bottom of left foot, profuse sweating, sick feeling, pain/numbness in the left shoulder (intermittent).

: Thank you for any assitance.

I have the twitches, and some other similar symptoms, and I have/had profuse sweating. Has your wife been tested for co-infections? It is true that thyroid levels that have gone haywire can cause some of these symptoms your wife is experiencing, but so can babesiosis. I have both lyme and babesiosis, and the babesiosis went undiagnosed for 2 years.
