Hi renee. I,ve had bicillian shots twice now june of 97 for 3 months , then the dr doubled the dose to twice the dosage and I did it 3 more months the shots were once a week, then I did them again this past oct for 1 month got extremely sick on them at first my dr thoght it was aflare up then after a few weeks he took me off all my meds to let my body get a rest from all the drugs. I got worse so he put me on IV jan 24 until april also second time doing IV. I dont know your situation but I also have babesia and erliciosis hope there spelled right. the shots hurt but not bad enough for me not to have tried them again, I really didn't have any major side effects except for the usual ones we all get with lots of antibiotics. hope this helps and I think your'e making a good decision not everyone is the same they may do the trick for you! hope this helps.
