i've been dx'd with ms for nine years this month, and any responsible neurologist looking at someone presenting with ms symptoms is going to do several tests, not the least of which will be a lyme titre. i know that there are people with lyme's who've had negative titres, and in those cases, i think an ms dx is always going to rely on a combination of diagnostic tools anyway, to include clinical observation; evoked potentials; the all-important mri; and possibly a myelogram. hope that's useful.
