I'd like to hear from someone whose child had Lyme and was also diagnosed as Autistic!

Hi,

I had posted a message awhile ago but I'm hoping there is someone with a similar situation. My daughter
is 3 and was diagnosed with Lyme in May. Two months later she was diagnosed as Autistic. I'm convinced
that it was caused by the Lyme Disease. She became a different person after having Lyme. I've been
speaking with Brian Fallon at Columbia Univ. about this and I feel my daughter needs more tests. Even
if she is truly Autistic I can't ignore the possibility she may still have Lyme. I don't know which is worse.
I have been looking for a Pediatric Lyme specialist but no one takes insurance. It's getting very frustrating
because my daughter has two major illnesses of which no doctor thinks could be connected. I would
appreciate hearing from anyone who is in this situation or knows of someone who is. Thanks to all who
