I've found the plquenil works best if taken w/ food (as directed) & helps most w/ my knees, but I suppose it reaches my knuckles too. I also find aqua & physical therapy helpful. My infectious disease specialist believes it is key in my treatment & my physical medicine specialist agrees it is medically necessary. Although my treatment has been suspended several times b/c of insurance issues -we gain a'lil, lose ground & start over. I recently returned to work parttime & thiis happened to coincide w/ another lapse in AT & PT treatment. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to wellness whenever it arrives...
