Four weeks ago, my wife helped me pull 41 deer ticks from my body. I went to be tested yesterday because I was having severe headaches at the base of my skull, my shoulders aching, upset stomach, and mainly this:

I'm having trouble with short term memory. I started supper as usual during the work week, and went back to my computer. My wife came home and went to the kitchen, only to find I had not turned on any burners or the oven. Also I went to take a shower, and forgot and left the water running. I went to get the mail, and left my dog tied to the light post after going back in the house.

I'm only 35, and am scared. Is this a sign of Lyme's disease? I can't find anything on short term memory loss and Lyme's. Feel free to write to me at banjo_champ@hotmail.com if you know the answer, or post here please.

The results of my Lyme's testing will arrive within a couple of days. My heart goes out to all of you who have this terrible disease...
