You sound a lot like me. This has been going on for me since about April or May. Sometimes I feel like I am going crazy. My period come approximately every 2 1/2 weeks and right before my period I feel like I am going crazy. I have been going to the doctors now begging them to do something. They tell me I am depressed, but I know I am not. The put me on Zoloft and that took me over the edge. Talk about going crazy...then they gave me Kloepin to conteract the side affects. I was sick as a dog. When I went back they said just up the dose. I have been telling her for sometime now that I know it is my hormones..but they don't seem to be listening. I told her if she would check her records, everytime I came to see her it was when I had my period. They did a tyroid scan approximately six months ago and that came back normal. I finally went to go see a gynocologist and he put me on serifem and said that would help with the PMS. He told me if my period didn't become normal in a few months, he would do a D and C. Again I am sitting here researching on the internet hormone imbalances. When I feel like this I think I am cracking up.....I am a wreck inside. I printed out all of the test available and I am going to take them to the doctors with me on monday. Yes, another doctors appointment. Hopefully this time she will understand what I am saying. I had a tubal 10 years ago. And I am wondering if this has anything to do with it. I am getting to the point of desperation. I have three kids I need to take care of. I am a teacher and I can't be going through life fine one minute, cracked up the next. Can anyone help me to figure this out and has anyone else had this happen. Please let me know how you got yourself to level off. And how to get a doctor to actually listen to what you are saying. I took a chart of my periods to them and they still don't get it. Monday I am taking the printouts with me and telling them I want all of these test done. Think it will work? Doubt it!!!!!!! I would love to take the test on line, but funds just aren' there. Anyone have any advice? Would be greatly appreciate. Just email me at starfly123@aol.com. Place Hormones in the subject line...so I know what it pretains to. Thanks a million.
Bonnie
