Hi Pam:
Very familiar stuff. You may want to see a Dr. and get some natural hormone replacement. Try the TOP DOC list on Mary Shomans thyroid site on about.com. They know all about hormones. Good luck.: I am 48 years old, working in data entry. I am experiencing menepause (and have been for about four years)I can handle the hot flashes (I have a fan next to my bed so I can sleep nights) but what I have been experiencing lately scares me.
: The thing is I'll be on my way to work and suddenly become alarmed because my surroundings are NOT familiar. It's like being awaken from sleep and realizing that I'm lost. I've had a lot going on in my life this past year and wonder if it's menapause or maybe added stress that is causing this confusion. I find it very difficult to focus at times and have had to leave work for the day because of it.
