Hi Allison: several years ago I had a hysteroscopy with a uterine biopsy in my gynecologist's office.
I don''t know if that is what you are talking about; My doctor was very gentle. First, he had to
give me a local injection into the cervix to dilate it (open it up) then he uses a tube to look into
the uterus and takes some t issue. Frankly, it was no big deal. There was some cramping and
some bleeding afterward but again, no big deal. It sounds alot worse than it is. Again, I don't
know if that is the procedure your physician has in mind. More details would help. good luck.
