: i'm 45 years old and had a total hysterectomy about 5 years ago. i've tried different hormone replacement therapy. i'm currently on premarin. i've never felt the same since the surgery. my biggest complaint is that i feel disoriented at times and i'm always forgetful. is anyone experiencing poor memory? i feel like i'm losing my mind or maybe the early onset of alzheimer's. i find myself doing things backwards and putting things where they don't belong. my dr. tells me to go to a neurologist, but i just can't afford it.
I am going through the same thing....I feel like I am getting alzheimer's. Seriously. I say things that don't even make sense. I am 45 too.
(yesterday :-) and this has been happening for about 1.5 years. I say things like envelope for elbow and stuff like that. I even got lost going to the store using backroads I normally use. I have been taking soy. It makes me feel sharper.
It helps me -- I take isoflazones. 25 mg each day. Hope this helps you realize you are not alone.
