I am 42 yrs. old and have been on Loestrin for 2 yrs.
because of heavy bleeding. My doctor put me on Prem-
Phase because when I told him my sypmtoms he said I
still wasn't getting enough Estrogen. My symtoms?
How long do I have?! Forgetfulness, difficulty
concentrating, I've gained 15# since Feb.; I've got
a very short fuse and absolutely NO PATIENCE, I have
no energy and my house that used to be spotless is
not anymore. Any chore takes everything I have. I even
take sometimes 2 naps a day. I NEVER used to be able
to nap.The Prem-Phase has helped my horrible hot
flashes, but not much else. I've been on it for 2 wks.
I'm also on Prozac (20mg).I've been on that for 1 yr.
because my PMS was getting worse. Now I feel like I'm
PMSing all the time with a very severe case! I feel
like I'm so full of rage all the time. And I'm really
struggling with simple tasks, just writing this
e-mail it's hard to concentrate and to type.My dr.
says I'm not nuts, but is there an end soon?!
This is definately the worst thing I have ever gone
through. I feel like my whole personality is changing,
sometimes I wish I could just be alone. Everybody I'm
around just gets on my nerves. I feel awful!
