Has anyone out there tried this method popular in Europe where women, in order to stop having awful periods, take the birth control pill for three months without taking the inert pill that starts your period. My Dr. OK'd this and I cant find too much on this method. I am 45 with regular painful hard periods. I also take Natural Progesterone Cream for the last 2 years and it works well for PMS and I sleep like a baby. I want to know if anyone has info about whether I should do both. Dr John R Lee's book about "What your doctor may not tell you about perimenopause" frowns on the pill. I have to at least try this or I can never leave the house during my period (the last 2 days).
Thanks D
