: For the past year I have been getting isolated hives. I think it has something to do with menapause, because I cannot think of any other reason. I will get one or two on the trunk of my body for about a week. When they disappear, another will appear somewhere else. Does anyone else have anything like this? Thanks for your help.
I am 44 and have been experiencing what I think are hormonal swings the last year or so. During this time I have been having episodes of hives for no apparent reason. I've never had this problem before. They ussually appear in the same places, if I don't treat them right away they spread over my entire body. I do notice what I would call hot flashes during some of these episodes. Even if I'm cold, I'll be sweaty. Mary
