I would be interested to hear your description of what a "throat contraction" is. I've been having what I call "Esophagus spasms" for nearly 3 years am having a endoscopy on Monday(4/10) They tested me for thyroid and the first one came back low, so they ran 3 others..which they said were normal. I had convinced myself I WAS definitely HYPOTYROID because I have EVERY one of the symptoms. I've heard others say read "What your doctor may not tell you about menopause" and also abother book about "The Underdiagnoised Disease" which is hypothyroidism..so Not sure what I'm going to do either..but know that many of us are in the same boat..and it is NOT in your head. Another suspicion of mine is that I have "estrogen dominance" meaning I need progesterone to balance. I know this..I could use some testosterone to get some DRIVE back! HA I am 42 and suffering from many of the same things Email me and I"ll tell you how my test turns out on monday!!
