I have high colestoral, last reading in August was 258
he wants me to lower it by diet, I agree because the less pills you take the better, I am not against taking meds for the high colestoral, here the thing he gave me a "form diet" that everyone can go by, most of what it says I already do, heres the things i eat....
red meat-twice a week (cooked med-well) other times chicken, some fish, NOTE we never fry foods, either oven, broil, or bar-b-que, I am not a big vegitable eater, don't like hot cerels, I drink maybe 4 cups of coffee a week with milk & sugar, thats the only time I have milk, don't eat eggs, use stick butter, been trying not to drink much soda - and when I do it's cafeen free Coke. I have not been able to do much exercise at present due to a injury (fell at work broke my hip) but will be returning to work and gym, I gained about 10-15 lbs. these past 6 months. That part I really don't like - I want to loose them, and I will!
I am 50 years old and active, so this being home is a real drag.
I am willing to take "natural" substences to lower the colestoral.
Any help is appriciated - if you want to talk I will give you me E-mail address.
Thanks
