: I'd like to hear from anyone else out there who suffers from Chronic Prostatitis? I've been battling this for about three years now and at my wits end. Three doctors have been little help, but I'm hoping there is someone out there who has found a treatment. Hope to hear from you. Thanks

I too had rhis same problem. About 5 monts ago it got worse. The infection was so bad it caused my blood pressure to rise to 210/125 and caused a stroke. I spent 8 days in the hospital, While in there I closed up and could not go and they had to insert a cathater. The urologiest found a blockage. He gave me a Rectual Ultrasound and found Prostate Stones and they are whats infected. Monday of last week he proformed surgery to open up the opening in the prostate so that I can empty all the way. You may want to talk to your Dr. about this. I had never heard of prostate stones before but the Mayo and John Hopkins web site address's them. Still to early to tell if the surgery worked. May post later if anyone is insterested. By the way I am 48 years old.

Good Luck my friend.

Ted
