Ummm... castrated?

Haven't heard of that as an adjunct therapy to prostate surgery - I'd go
get another opinion real soon now!!!!

Ove rhere in Australia, we have about as many men who die from prostate cancer
as women who die from breast cancer.

Both are tragic, but women have been more effective in getting
breast cancer into the public debate.

Looks like we need to raise the awareness of prostate cancer
and get things like effective screening and effective
treatements... I read that Norman Schwartzkopf had a
prostatectomy, a good story, but he had numbers of
side effects that make it seem that the surgical methods
are pretty primitive at the moment.

Best of luck, anyhow - I'd definitely challenge the proposal
that you need an orchidectomy - it's a lot to lose!
