Sperm is damaged by being too warm inside the testicles. Thats why our scrotum acts as a thermometer and regulates the temperature of our "equipment." You'll notice that when its called your testicles are help up close to your body, when hot they drop and move the testicle away. This acts to keep the sperm at a fairly constant temperature in order to have them remain healthy. Certainly, a kick or hit in the testicle can damage them and thus may kill some sperm. However, your body is continually producing sperm 24 and 7, nothing to worry about, you should always have enough!
