: Hi all!

: Not the most exciting of topics I know, but it's something that's been getting me down quite a lot recently. Basically..I'm 16, about 5'9"(ish) and my weight for months and months has hovered around...wait for it....8 stone (50kg ish). I realise this is low and I am underweight. I do, however have a small bone structure which is more feminine (narrow shoulders etc). However, even then, my weight is still regarded as lowish for females of the same height.

: I appreciate the fact that I am still young and (hopefully) still developing (though I feel there isn't much left to develop), but I try to eat healthily, and I know I do eat a lot. I just don't understand why I can't put on weight as I do eat very well and lead a healthy lifestyle!

: Any suggestions or general replies will be greatly appeciated and wanted desperately!

: Thanks everyone,
: K

HI. I have a mate who i have known since he was 16. we are now 23. his has always been small and although he eats and drinks like a pig he is still small. Thats life pal. go to the gym and grow some muscles and they will show well with no fat. they say that young people should not lift weights. I reckon its the best time to grow big muscles before they develop. When they finally do they will be big and powerfull, CYA
