You had back sergury, thats real trickey, have you gone to a specielest and gotten a second opinion? I have some back pain, found a chiropractor helped, as for the hip replacement - there should not be any "real" pain, when was it replaced?
I also had hip sergury, broke the ball at the top of the femia, now have a "pin" and a "bar" with 2 screws but it doesn't really bother me, I just need to exercise to keep the mussels strong.
Sorry I couldn't give you any help but if you want - post again on the board and I will send you my e-mail address, maybe talkin will help, or give you some insight in to some thing you over looked.
I'm 50 - so I understand where your at.
Good luck,
Kev
