Sounds to me as if you might be suffering from prostatitis (as I am). Groin pain, rectal pain, pain at and after ejaculation in my groin and penis. Some buring at the tip of my penis upon urination, plus a weak stream.

My doctor tells me that my prostate is slightly enlarged for someone my age (37), and prostatic fluid shows cells which suggest infection/inflammation.

Two months of antibiotics have done little to improve it (although curiously, I noticed a change in the color of my semen - from a tint of yello to almost pure white). I'm finding sex to be less and less enjoyable now days, which is a dramatic change for me - I used to want it everyday.

Anyway, as far as tests - I had my prostatic fluid examined (retrieved after a thorough prostate massage), and I had a transrectal ultrasound (which showed some calcifications which the doctor tells me are not that unusual and are not significant enough in his opinion to cause my problems.

I've tried the bladder neck/prostate relaxing medications (Flomax and Cardura) and so far nothing has worked.

Anyone reading this with any new information, ideas, or physician referrals in the Dallas, Texas area... all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and good luck.
