: I am 38 years old and have just found out that I am going through an early menapose. This is awful because I am also a panic attack sufferer. Is there anyone out there with panic attacks that is going through menapose, I would love to hear from you. I am having hot flashes, I can sleep at night, my eye twitches, I feel like I am on another planet, forgetful, very tired all the time and very depressed. I am taking Elivil and Xanax and they are the lowest does of each.
Panic attacks can occur at adolescence at around mid-30s.There is no relationship with menopause or pre-menopause.You ssem to be depressed and you are taking the right drug Amitryptiline(ELIVIL)but the dosage should be as advised by the psychiatridt or the physician. For anxiety as well as panic attacks,Alprazolam(XANAX)works very good.Wish you a speedy recovery.
