How come I can't lose weight on a starvation diet of just 170 calories per day. My one daily meal usually consists of 1/3 cup bran cereal with 2/3 cup milk. No snacks. So come my diet won't work? Wouldn't my basal metabolism get rid of 170 calories (I don't exercise and am pretty stationary.) I lost weight initially while on the starvation diet but now I am trapped at 125 pounds (I am 5 foot 4 and would like to lose 10 pounds to reach my perfect weight of 115) How do I lose those last ten pounds (if possible without exercise). Also, most of the time I feel as though I am starving and maybe on the brink of collapse. I have a constant painful hollow and "sick" feeling from my diaphragm down to my hips, I feel like passing out constantly, I have a weak and lethargic feeling in my limbs. Does anyone have advice on what to do. I want to be able to fit into my size 5 - 6 jeans again and I don't care what it costs. ----Genny
