sometimes an ssri antidepressent can rev you up. I've had that with zoloft and effexor.You may want to change medications, there are a lot of antidepressents to choose from. What you are experiencing with the knife is an obsession, I have the same problem. People never act these out-well maybe if their psychotic or on lsd
