I was switched from Paxil to Wellbutrin SR b/c of weight gain and not feeling completely better on the Paxil. I feel the best now that I have felt in at least 2 -3 years. I have not begun to lose weight yet, but my psych says that I will sooner than later. Feeling better is also helping me manage my diet better than I could while on the Paxil. The Wellbutrin does have some side effects and does not help my anxiety, but with the depression lifted, I am not feeling anxious. Good luck!
