: Last month, my Dr. recommended that I switch from Paxil to Serzone because of weight gain. I gradually weaned off the Paxil for about a month, went one week without anything and now have been on the Serzone for 5 days. I feel soooo depressed, though. Worse than I've felt in years. How long does it take for Serzone to become effective? Does the dizziness ever wear off? I feel like I'm going to jump off a bridge or something. Has anyone else out there tried any other med which helps with anxiety & depression and doesn't make you gain weight? I switched from Serzone to Paxil. Although serzone helped with depression, i always felt tired and fatigued. Even if i took it all at night. Often times i would see spots in periphrial vision. If it doesn't get better for you soon move on to another; i took it for apx. 2 years prior to switching to paxil. Good luck with your quest to find the one for you. glyph
