Personally for me I am now in the process
of lowering my elavil, going off of it and going back on Zoloft. Elavil is a very good drug for chronic pain, but you have to outweigh the negative side effects to the benefits, and there
are alot of side effects to it.

: MY PSCHIATRIST PRESCRIBED TRAZADONE 50MG TO ME FOR SLEEP ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO, BUT HAVE RECENTLY BEEN IN A MAJOR CAR ACCIDENT. SINCE THE ACCIDENT I HAVE BEEN GETTING CONSTANT TENSION HEADACHES. MY NEUROLIGIST HAS SUGGECSTED I TAKE ELAVIL FOR SLEEP AND THAT IT WILL HELP WITH THE HEADACHES. I TOOK THE ELAVIL FOR TWO DAYS AND HAD SOME SIDE AFFECTS BUT MOSTLY I AM CONCERNED BECAUSE THE TRAZADONE ALONG WITH 75MG ZOLOFT HAS HELPED ME A GREAT DEAL WITH MY DEPRESSION AND ANXIIOTY. I DON'T WANT THE TRAZADONE TO WEAR OF AND WAIT FOR THE ELAVIL TO KICK IN. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INPUT THAT COULD HELP ME WITH MY DECISION?
