Hi Tami,

I agree that Manic Depression and Bipolar recieves
bad press. I think there is still alot of
misunderstanding out there about mental illness. I
even believe that medical professionals are still
learning how to treat these illnesses. I have had
this illness since I was 15 and I feel like I can
say that it has made my life a bit of a battle. I have just started the search for an alternative to drug treatment. I try to stay positive that
there is a better treatment out there. Every time I have been knocked over by this illness I
have gotten back up again. I have also gone to
University to gain a marketable education.
I have heaps of stories I could mention which
would shock and amaze you but when I'm well I try
to focus on moving on in life and try not to dwell
on those embarassing moments.
