How terrible for everyone to be going through this. It sounds to me as if your nephew has more than one problem. Children are tougher to diagnose because of growth and development issues. I hope that he is in good hands. It sounds like he is a danger to himself and others and needs hospitalization. I hope that the family is getting counseling too to help them deal with this. As a mother, I know how hard it must be for her to let go and let others step in to help him, but it sounds like this has gone on far too long already. You have my prayers.
