RAFA Counseling centers are really excellent Christian Psychologists and other professionals.
They are thru out the U.S., so you can see if there is one near by.

Also, since he went thru the stress of the death of his wife, he may be seriously low-thyroid...chemicals from serious stress/trauma disrupts the thyroid and cam easily cause serious mental-emotional problems.
Bi-polar is just one possible symptom. His B-12 level also should be tested.
Have him post here too if he will, for encouragement. Thanks for caring for him!
