Hi Julie, Thank you so much for the reply. It’s definitely (who am I to say?) a processing problem but not just auditory. ‘Sensory Integration Disorder’ sounds like a good name for it though. I will pursue. I am totally frustrated that after finally going to a doctor(s) and spending lots of money, I’m no further ahead than when I started. My doctors are suggesting that I come back for more testing but I’m hesitant to do that because typically, (with all due respect) I don’t trust that doctors have a sincere concern for people’s condition’s and most are more interested in taking people’s money. My recent episode doesn’t do anything to discourage that notion. You’re probably a doctor, right? I’m sure that I’m not being fair but recent occurrences with family have only encouraged that feeling. Also, my insurance company doesn’t provide much for mental health. If someone else was paying for this I’d ride it out at least long enough to get some kind of resolution. Aren’t there any free test’s I can take that will at least somewhat pinpoint what my deficiencies are? Can anything be done to correct this condition anyway? Why am I babbling?! Well, again, thank you for the information. Sorry to bend your ear. I wish you were across the table from me so I could ramble more. - Take Care, Chris
