Hi Julie, Thank you so much for the reply. Itís definitely (who am I to say?) a processing problem but not just auditory. ĎSensory Integration Disorderí sounds like a good name for it though. I will pursue. I am totally frustrated that after finally going to a doctor(s) and spending lots of money, Iím no further ahead than when I started. My doctors are suggesting that I come back for more testing but Iím hesitant to do that because typically, (with all due respect) I donít trust that doctors have a sincere concern for peopleís conditionís and most are more interested in taking peopleís money. My recent episode doesnít do anything to discourage that notion. Youíre probably a doctor, right? Iím sure that Iím not being fair but recent occurrences with family have only encouraged that feeling. Also, my insurance company doesnít provide much for mental health. If someone else was paying for this Iíd ride it out at least long enough to get some kind of resolution. Arenít there any free testís I can take that will at least somewhat pinpoint what my deficiencies are? Can anything be done to correct this condition anyway? Why am I babbling?! Well, again, thank you for the information. Sorry to bend your ear. I wish you were across the table from me so I could ramble more. - Take Care, Chris
