I'm glad I found this site, I am 27 and have just been diagnosed with ms. My mother and her brother have it so I am not totally unfamiliar with the disease. My mother first got it when she was 21 and now she can't do anything by herself. My first symptoms were numbness and balance problems and now I am having difficulty with my speech. I was wondering if there was anything special I should be doing so that I can avoid getting as bad as my mother is today. Thank you for your advice.
