My daughter has had three MRI's in the past two years. Now at age 19 the MRI she had last week shows demyelinating disease along with an inflammatory sinuse disease. The doctor simply said, it looks like you have MS. Inspite of the MS symptoms, I was just wondering if the sinuse disease could be giving a false reading on the MRI. Anyone ever have anything like this? I have read where alot of the confermation to MS is in a spinal tap. We are new at this so please forgive my ignorance, but we do learn by asking. I am wondering about a second opinion. I am trying not to be in denial or grab false hope. Just lost for answers, but am willing to learn as much as I can.
